PHG Plumbing, Heating & Gas Ltd
1. Services
PHG Plumbing, Heating & Gas Ltd provides plumbing, heating and gas services. All work will be carried out by suitably qualified and competent engineers where required.
2. Quotations and Pricing
- Quotations are based on the information available at the time and may be subject to change if additional or unforeseen work is required.
- Any additional work or costs will be discussed with the customer wherever reasonably possible before proceeding.
- A quotation is valid for the period stated on the quotation.
- Emergency and out-of-hours work may be charged at a different rate.
3. Payment
- Payment is due upon completion of the work unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed in advance.
- We accept the payment methods stated on the invoice.
- For larger installation projects, a deposit or staged payments may be required.
- Any unpaid invoices may be subject to further charges and/or recovery action.
4. Access to the Property
The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the property and the relevant appliances, pipework or areas where work is required.
If access is unavailable or the engineer is unable to safely carry out the work, additional attendance charges may apply.
5. Gas and Safety
All gas-related work will be carried out in accordance with applicable legislation and safety requirements. Where required, work will be completed by a suitably qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.
If an appliance or installation is found to be unsafe, we may be required to advise the customer and, where necessary, disconnect or make safe the appliance.
6. Existing Systems and Equipment
We cannot be held responsible for faults, damage or failures relating to existing equipment, pipework or installations that were not caused by our work.
Where an existing system is old, damaged or in poor condition, additional work may be required and will be discussed with the customer.
7. Materials and Parts
Where possible, suitable replacement parts will be used. Availability of specific parts may vary, and alternative parts may sometimes be required.
Manufacturer warranties will apply where applicable. Our workmanship warranty does not cover faults caused by misuse, accidental damage, third-party work or pre-existing issues.
8. Cancellations and Appointments
- Customers should provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
- We reserve the right to charge for missed appointments or late cancellations where reasonable costs have been incurred.
9. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances
We will make every reasonable effort to complete work within the agreed timeframe. However, delays can occur due to circumstances outside our control, including parts availability, hidden defects, access issues or additional work being discovered.
10. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the property and any known faults or previous work. Customers must also ensure that the working area is reasonably accessible and safe for our engineers.
11. Complaints
We aim to resolve any concerns quickly and fairly. Customers should contact us as soon as possible if they are unhappy with any aspect of our service so that we have the opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter. You can reach us on 07470 070659 or at limitedphg@gmail.com.
12. Liability
We will carry out all work with reasonable care and skill. We will not be liable for damage or loss resulting from pre-existing defects, customer misuse, third-party work or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any statutory rights that consumers have under UK law.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting a quotation, booking an appointment or instructing PHG Plumbing, Heating & Gas Ltd to carry out work, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions. PHG Plumbing, Heating & Gas Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions where necessary.
