Plant room and hot water cylinder install in Cosham

The job

This project in Cosham, Portsmouth started life as a gym. The building has been converted into a 14-bedroom HMO, and we have worked on it from start to finish. It was a new install throughout, and the last piece of the job was the plant room.

What we did

We built a whole new plant room and recommended two 300 litre unvented hot water cylinders, which we then installed as the finishing touches to the plant room. Alongside it we set up individual heating zones for the 14 bedrooms and 14 en-suite bathrooms, along with the 2 communal sitting areas, the kitchen and the utility room. Each bedroom has its own heating zone and its own thermostat, as well as its own en-suite bathroom.

The result

The hot water cylinder install completed a 6 month project in Cosham. We are really pleased with how it came out: a great job and a lovely result, finished off with a plant room we think looks like a Picasso painting.
